As a child, I started exploring my artistic side with crayons and felt tips, and later with detailed ink drawings of the natural world. When I was 7 or 8 years old, I received my first box of oil paints, and I have been passionate about creating art ever since. Despite my desire to pursue art as a career, it was challenging to envision a path forward while living in central England.

After completing my MBA and working in the food industry for 10 years, I finally managed to combine my two passions by opening a pottery painting studio in Suffolk, England. I ran this studio for nearly a decade, which allowed me to merge the joy of instructing groups of all ages with an online ecommerce platform specializing in hand-painted, personalized unique pieces for weddings and other occasions. My experience as a solopreneur taught me so much about what one can achieve with determination.

Ever since 2013 … I have made my home in North America.

I first settled in beautiful Atlantic Canada before eventually moving to Southern California, where I’ve found myself fully engaged in the artistic community of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Although oil painting remains my preferred medium, I’ve been exploring charcoal for life drawing classes and trying my hand at acrylic paints for larger projects.
